On May 10, 2024, students, staff, and volunteers from LCCA travelled to Camp Ohio located about seventeen miles north of LCCA and spent the day cleaning and generally preparing the camp for the summer camp season as part of our Work-a-thon fundraiser.
The Work-a-thon is a donation-based fundraiser organized by the LCCA Booster Club. Friends of LCCA families sponsor students for the work day. Donations go to Licking County Christian Academy to help with various improvements in and around the school. In the 2023-2024 school year, we received $11,486.75 which was used to install a drain system in the school playground with the remainder being saved to resurface the playground.
Next school year we will raise additional funds to resurface our playground replacing the pea gravel surface with a poured rubber surface. The total cost of the project is around $20,000.
We thank God for his providing an opportunity for us to serve our community while at the same time providing funds to help us provide a better educational experience. Thank you for your support and participation! Please call the school office (740-522-3600) if you have questions about the Work-a-thon.
